The year has started off well for one of the Gold Coast’s favourite restaurants – Chill on Tedder with the announcement they have been awarded 2 AGFG Chef Hats for 2013 by the Australian Good Food and Travel Guide.
The Australian Good Food Guide has awarded chefs hats to discerning chefs since 1982. The awards are the result of careful deliberation of anonymous inspectors, their reviews and the votes of the dining public who send in comments throughout the year.
Daran and Lisa Glasgow, owners of Chill on Tedder are understandably thrilled with the award. Daran enthuses, “There are just so many restaurants on the Gold Coast and after such a challenging year for most of us, it really is pleasing to be able to stand out not just with the inspectors but our local diners especially. We are just really humbled people have also taken the time to do their own review on the website, it really gives us a lot of clarity going forward”.
